These core labs, including the Next-generation Genomics Facility, support faculty in the building, across the CU campus, across the CU system and also businesses and labs nationally. The Caruthers Biotechnology Building will also house core labs focused on the following:
- Next-generation Genomics Facility
- Nuclear Magnetic Resonance
- Biomolecular mass spectrometry and proteomics
- Flow cytometry
- Electron paramagnetic resonance
- Tissue culture and bioimaging
- X-Ray crystallography
Most of the core labs are located on the ground level, which also houses a vivarium, machine shop and electrical shop.
