Shelled Teaching Spaces

The large teaching auditoriums at the end of the Charlie Butcher Gallery are currently unfinished, or “shelled.” Eventually this space will house two auditoriums: a 60-seat and a 110-seat teaching spaces that will be used for graduate and undergraduate classes.

There are also three teaching labs on the first floor that are currently shelled space. These spaces will house mainly undergraduate courses and will be named: the Broida Family Bioengineering Teaching Lab; the Broida Family Biochemistry Teaching Lab and the Chevron Chemical Engineering Teaching Lab.

The spaces are shelled in anticipation of state funding.
